50 Gold Pesos to buy or not?
 

My local dealer just got one in & is selling it for $1200.00 with bezel for neckless. I must have been someones neckless. I kind of hate buying jewerly because it takes a beating. This piece does have a few nicks in it. I don't know if i should buy it for that price.

Well its a fair price w/ gold at $1000, the 50 peso is very much a bullion coin, 1.2 ounces and change, so if you like it I'd go for it.

I'd buy it, gold now $990.70 x 1.2057 = $1194.49 on the coin alone. The bezel if gold is gravy. Necklace.:36_3_12:

you should buy it. benzel is probalby 14k, which makes it even better of a deal.

I lost it. It was bought last night. I'm pissed. :bawling:

He now has two NGC Buffalos MS 70 for $1100.00 each.

BTW, I removed that peso coin from the bezel and am selling it for $1250.

I did end up with a 1907 $10 gold piece & a ICG 2007 First Spouse Abigail Adams PR70 DCAM First Day of Issue(whatever that really means) for $1025.00 but I really blew it the last two days! :banghead:

& a 10oz Engelhard bar $170

At 1.206 oz, the 50 peso Centenario is the king of gold coins, IMO.
